Tarot Card Reading is an art form and a science, which helps people to bring effectiveness in their life through various tarot cards. There are many theories the origin of Tarot, but no one knows for certain where and how the cards were first developed.
Some authorities claim the Tarot evolved from the Chinese divination system called I Ching; others say that it was adapted from the legendary Book of Thoth. Still others place its origin as recently as fourteenth and fifteenth century Europe, since the earliest known complete decks dates from that time.
Another theory suggests that Tarot philosophy was derived from that of Cabala(also referred as Kabalah). Cabala is a mystical Jewish tradition which teaches that it is possible, through symbolic interpretation of ancient texts, to raise your consciousness above the level of mundace knowledge and lead you to an understanding of and union with the Divine.
Some also believe that Tarot was brought to Europe from elsewhere (possibly from Egypt, China, India or Persia) by gypsies – but all of this is mere conjecture.
Accuracy of Tarot Card Reading and it influence on a person’s life may vary depending on how experienced and logical the tarot card reader is. Tarot cards are a unique blend of symbolisms from several lines of thought. A lot of variety is available in the market. The first step is to get a good Tarot card deck. The deck must have images or pictures that you can relate to. There are decks based on so many themes – Egyptian mythology, Greek mythology, Pagan lore, Animal themed decks, Decks based on Modern themes – the variety is endless. With such a variety to choose from, one has a lot of hard work to do. So how to choose one’s deck. My favourite has been the Osho Zen Tarot in detail, which is a non-traditional deck of 79 cards. I still love its energy and messages.
I experienced many of my students either found the big size decks difficult to handle or lost interest due to their inability to remember them all or sometimes they felt that they are not intuitive enough to get messages and so on and so forth. Thus, to further help my wonderful students more empowered I was guided to develop a simple to read deck so that everyone is able to further their spiritual ascension without any block. This deck ‘Divine Healing Cards’ is dedicated to all those who are ready and aware to help themselves and everyone around them (if & when approached) with ease and grace.
